Police have launched a search and seizure operation at the home of 59-year-old Choi Chung-rak, who wielded a weapon against 10 citizens in Incheon.

The Incheon Namdong Police Station dispatched investigators to Choi's residence located in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon, this morning (October 17) to conduct the search.

Police initiated the search and seizure to verify circumstances indicating whether Choi had planned the crime in advance.

Choi was arrested on charges of attempting to murder 10 visitors with a weapon around 1:48 p.m. on October 13 at a large commercial building in Guwol-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon, which houses a hypermarket and a movie theater.
