Teens attempting to steal a motorcycle in the middle of the night were caught immediately after their crime. Apparently, there was a watchful eye keeping track of the scene?
Yes, in the early hours of October 9, the CCTV Integrated Control Center in Buk-gu, Ulsan, captured two individuals presumed to be teenagers smoking next to a motorcycle without a license plate.
A short while later, they started the engine using a tool instead of a key, and a monitoring operator immediately reported them to the police.
The operator then tracked them in real-time as they rode the motorcycle to a nearby convenience store, relaying the information to the police. Officers dispatched to the scene arrested the suspects for theft.
Earlier, on the night of October 2 when the Ulsan Fireworks Festival was held, the control center also spotted two youths approaching a motorcycle parked in front of a public restroom and attempting to start it with a tool.
Because the control operator notified the police right away, they were also apprehended at the scene.
