Band TOUCHED is releasing their first full-length album, "Polar Night."
TOUCHED will release their debut full-length album, "Polar Night," through various online music sites at noon on October 15. This is the first full-length album released by TOUCHED since their debut in 2021, featuring a total of 12 tracks. The album title, "Polar Night," was inspired by the phenomenon where the sun does not rise above the horizon and the night continues.
Their agency explained that emotions that do not easily fade over time were compared to an endless night, and the "individual nights" harbored by each member—such as frustration, resentment, loss, and solitude—were expressed through music. The album was produced with production support from the CJ Cultural Foundation's musician support program, "Tune Up."
The double title tracks are "Fallen Angel" and "This Star." Both songs were previously unveiled at major festival stages this year and are being officially released as digital tracks in this album. The music video teaser for "Fallen Angel," released at midnight on October 14, depicts a sleeping ego and another ego playing music to wake it up coexisting in the same space. The full music video will be released alongside the album.
In line with the album concept, major teasing content was released at midnight. The mood film featuring the members' narration included the album's first track, "Tunnel."
The physical album comes in two versions: a digipak-style regular edition and a box-style special edition. The physical CD includes narrations that cannot be heard on digital streaming platforms, connecting the 12 tracks into a single flow between the songs.
