New rookie girl group A2O LITE, introduced by executive producer Lee Soo-man, is creating a buzz in the music scene with their groundbreaking debut performance stage.
A2O LITE's debut track "NEON," whose music source was released at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th, claimed the No. 1 spot on Melon's Top 100 chart at 11:00 p.m. on the 14th. Achieving the feat in about 29 hours since its release, the group surpassed (G)I-DLE member Jeon So-yeon's "I Will Quit My Job" and maintained the top position until 8:00 a.m. on the 15th.

The unconventional choreography cannot be left out when discussing this achievement. Videos capturing members Ciri and Aijing performing "INTRO" and "NEON" have been drawing a enthusiastic response among fans, particularly because Aijing executing a single-legged turn during the duo's opening sequence has been cited as a "killing part." Online communities have responded warmly, saying it reminds them of BoA's past performances.
In relation to this, choreographer J-Black posted a video of A2O LITE's debut stage on his Instagram on the 14th, stating, "I am J-Black, who participated in creating the choreography for the opening duo sequence of A2O's Ciri and Aijing. Lee Dong-gyu and Choi In-young from Cream Dance also jointly participated in the production and training. Please enjoy the choreography and show lots of love for our A2O."
Initially, rumors had circulated that the opening choreography was the work of another dancer. J-Black denied this by leaving a comment saying "Huh?" on the post.
