"HOPE," the most talked-about film of 2026, will soon be available on online and mobile platforms.
Distributor Plus M Entertainment announced on October 15, "Starting Wednesday, October 21, the theatrical day-and-date VOD service will launch via IPTV, cable TV, online, and mobile platforms."
"HOPE" will be available starting Wednesday, October 21, across various platforms including IPTV (KT, SKB, LG U+), cable TV (Studio Choice), Skylife, Apple TV, Wavve, Coupang Play, TVING, Watcha, and web hard services. In addition, pre-order events will kick off on select platforms starting Friday, October 16.

As "HOPE" continues its theatrical run with sustained enthusiasm from audiences, its VOD service will be provided not only in 2K HD but also, unusually for a Korean film, in 4K, allowing viewers to enjoy the movie in crystal-clear picture quality.
Meanwhile, the confirmed release schedule applies only to transactional VOD services; the release date for subscription-based OTT streaming platforms has yet to be finalized. It appears that detailed terms are currently being coordinated.
"HOPE" begins when Beom-seok, the head of a remote branch office in Hopo Port located in the Demilitarized Zone, hears from local village youths that a tiger has appeared, leading the entire town into high alert as he confronts an unbelievable reality. The film competed in the Competition section of the Cannes Film Festival, earning international acclaim, and drew 4.59 million moviegoers nationwide following its domestic release on July 21.
