Minister of Planning and Budget Park Hong-keun urged high-intensity organizational reform on the 14th, stating, "Policy planning capacity determines the success or failure of an organization."

Chairing the expanded meeting of senior officials at the Government Complex Sejong this morning, Minister Park emphasized this while encouraging the discovery and execution of policy tasks.

He called for thorough preparation for the comprehensive parliamentary audit scheduled for the 23rd and requested faster communication with the National Assembly to ensure key legislation passes within the year.

He added that periodic reviews will be conducted to ensure that core tasks by bureau are implemented without a hitch.

In addition, he urged senior officials to take the lead in improving the organizational constitution, such as getting rid of unnecessary work and establishing a flexible work culture.

At the meeting, Minister Park congratulated those promoted to senior civil service and director-general positions and asked them to take the lead in driving the organization forward dynamically.
