Actor Park Ha-sun is stepping down from SBS Power FM's
Park Haseon's Cinetown, a program she has hosted with deep affection for six years.
Park will step down from
Park Haseon's Cinetown following her final broadcast on November 1. Currently performing in the play
The Secret of Flowers and juggling multiple upcoming project shoots ahead of their releases, she decided to leave the show after thorough discussions with the production team to focus more on her primary career as an actor.
Taking her first steps as the host of
Cinetown on November 2, 2020, Park has connected with listeners through stable hosting and sincere communication, earning the affectionate nickname "Candy DJ." In particular, she has received immense love from listeners for her attentive listening and calm empathy toward guests' stories.
Following recent theatrical runs in
Our Little Sister and
Hongdo, Park is currently taking to the stage in
The Secret of Flowers. The play is an eccentric comedy about housewives who plot to collect a massive insurance payout following their husbands' mysterious accidents. Park plays Monica, a romantic who once dreamed of becoming an actor, bringing vitality to the work with her bubbly, lovable charm and deadpan acting.
She also continues her broad acting career in television. In tvN's
Filing for Love, which wrapped up in May, she made a strong impression with just a single appearance as the central figure of the audit office's first case. Furthermore, she expanded her reach into short-form dramas such as
Useless Love and
Psychopath Female Inspector, bearing fruit by winning the Web Drama Best Actress Award at the 2025 APAN Star Awards in Seoul.
She continues to meet viewers steadily through variety shows as well. In programs like
Divorce Re-Boot Camp,
Hidden Eye, and
My Own Secret Butterfly Effect, she adds fun to the shows with her sharp observational skills and witty banter.
The final episode of
Park Haseon's Cinetown will air via SBS Power FM at 11 a.m. on November 1.
