Kim Ji-yong, the nominee for the inaugural head of the Major Crimes Investigation Agency, attended a parliamentary confirmation hearing this morning (October 14).

When Representative Park Sang-woong of the People Power Party mentioned Choo Mi-ae, stating, "Even the opposition was shocked by the 'Nazi, Eichmann' remarks directed at nominee Kim," and asked, "Do you have that many fatal flaws?", nominee Kim replied, "I think so regarding some of the insulting expressions," but added, "I think it was said because of the weight and importance of the position."
