Kim Ji-yong, the nominee to serve as the inaugural head of the Serious Crimes Investigation Agency, attended a National Assembly confirmation hearing this morning (October 14). In response to People Power Party Lawmaker Park Duk-hyum's question asking, "Who do you think is singled out as a political prosecutor?" Nominee Kim replied, "Former Prosecutor General Yoon Suk Yeol is the first in having exerted a negative influence." When Lawmaker Park followed up by asking, "Is independent lawmaker Han Dong-hoon also included in that?" Kim said, "It would be difficult to deny."
