In connection with this, President Lee Jae-myung visited the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency yesterday (October 13) and called for a swift and rigorous investigation, as well as thorough follow-up measures, regarding the stabbing rampage at a large supermarket in Incheon.

President Lee instructed, "Devise extraordinary measures against violent crimes, and concentrate all capabilities on crime prevention and swift response."

He also ordered a comprehensive review of the management and supervision system for individuals wearing electronic ankle monitors and called for fundamental improvement measures to address the issues that have come to light.

President Lee further asked officials to pay special attention to necessary support, including medical treatment, recovery, and personal protection for the victims.
