Internal strife within the national football team has spilled over into personal attacks against specific players on social media, compounding the hurt.

In particular, the legal representatives of midfielder Lee Kang-in have warned of stern responses to false information.

Last week, after comforting a tearful Hwang In-beom right after the match against Uzbekistan, Lee remained tight-lipped about the chaotic team atmosphere while emphasizing that they must stick together.
