[Perpetrator (Husband): Hey, if I lived my life married to you or not married to you, I would've met over a hundred women, you bitch. So tell me just one thing, what did I even get out of getting married? Tell me just a single thing about how I'm not a pushover.]
The true nature of a man who brutally murdered his wife at a villa in Gwangju last month has been revealed, sending shockwaves through the public.
On October 3, SBS's "Unanswered Questions" released home camera footage capturing the couple's married life.
The husband, a postal official, frequently clashed with his wife over financial issues throughout their five-year marriage, and it was revealed that he gave her a monthly living allowance of 750,000 won while controlling her spending down to the 100-won unit.
[Perpetrator (Husband): It's just a few thousand won, damn it, a few thousand won. Hey, I don't want to waste a few thousand won so I get my hair cut once every three months, once every two months, damn it... Spit! Lick it. You should lick it up, you bitch, why (are you acting like this!) you should lick it up like this, you bitch. Is even that too much? Why is your pride so high? Spit, go on and lick it. Why is your pride so high? Spit]

Back in March, during an argument, he hurled their young daughter into a room when she started crying, and continued his threatening behavior even while the victim was holding the child.
[Perpetrator (Husband): Ah, damn it, stop screaming that you got beaten up, you bitch, am I the only bad guy here?]
The victim fled with her child to Gwangju, where her younger brother lives, to prepare for a divorce. In the meantime, the perpetrator invited a coworker over to his home and confessed the following.
[Perpetrator (Husband): If I just die here alone right now, I've saved up over 200 million won and it all goes to my wife, and I hate that. But it's too unfair to die alone. I paid off her debts, and I gave her the honeymoon, studio photoshoot, wedding dress, and makeup she wanted, and it's so unfair. I'm not going to die alone.]
Last August, the perpetrator received divorce papers, during the process of which the victim's address was exposed. Three weeks later, the perpetrator tracked her down and brutally murdered her with a weapon in front of their 5-year-old daughter.
[Pyo Chang-won / Crime Profiler: After actually confirming where she was living, he probably kept checking her movements, her daily habits, who she was living with, and whether the police were protecting her. You have to view this as a perfect premeditated murder, with zero room to call it an impulse or a spontaneous act born outside of planning.]
The prosecution has currently detained and indicted the husband on charges including retaliatory murder, violation of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Domestic Violence, and child abuse.
Netizens who came across the incident expressed furious reactions, saying, "There is no other devil like him, the home cam footage is so shocking," and "How does it even make sense for the victim's address to be exposed on divorce papers?"
