The Korean Basketball League (KBL) announced that it will award a 100 million won cash incentive to the men's national basketball team for winning the gold medal at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

KBL Commissioner Lee Soo-kwang expressed his gratitude, stating, "Despite difficult conditions, the national team delivered a stellar performance and fighting spirit that deeply moved the public." He added, "We hope this achievement translates into a surge of interest in domestic basketball, bringing many fans to the 2026-2027 KCC Pro Basketball season as well."
