Around 4:20 a.m. today (October 12), a 27-ton trailer crashed into the median barrier and overturned near the Bukdanyang Interchange on the Busan-bound Jungang Expressway in Jeokseong-myeon, Danyang-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do.

The driver, in their 30s, sustained minor injuries in the accident and was transported to the hospital.

Police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident, based on the driver's statement that the crash occurred while trying to avoid a water deer.
