Suwon FC Women and Sejong Sportstoto from the WK League, the women's semi-professional football league, will clash for the inaugural W Korea Cup title.
Suwon FC Women crushed Seoul City Hall 5-0 in the semifinals (Round 3) of the 2026 W Korea Cup held at Icheon Stadium in Gyeonggi Province on the 11th.
In the subsequent match, Sejong Sportstoto advanced to the final by defeating Incheon Hyundai Steel 2-1.
Suwon FC and Sejong will compete for the championship at the same venue on November 21.
The W Korea Cup is a new tournament established this year by the Korea Football Association to expand the grassroots of women's football in South Korea.
In its inaugural pilot year, a total of 15 teams—including eight WK League teams and seven university teams—have been competing since June.
The winner of this year's W Korea Cup will earn the title of inaugural champion along with a prize of 30 million won, which is higher than the 20 million won prize for winning the WK League.
