BTS held their world tour "ARIRANG" at the Estadio San Marcos in Lima, Peru, on October 7 and 9–10 local time, drawing a total of some 151,500 concertgoers over three days, agency BigHit Music announced on October 11.

This marks the first time BTS has held a concert in Peru since their debut.

The members shared their thoughts, saying, "Your passion is truly incredible," and "We wonder why we came to Peru only now."

Jimin, whose birthday is coming up on October 13, received loud cheers as he said, "I will always live without forgetting the fact that you have been sending us so much love from the other side of the world."

The agency added that BTS's concert also injected vitality into Lima's tourism and local economy.

Major institutions showed high interest even before the concert, releasing projected economic impacts that the group would bring.

Peru's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism projected that more than 50,000 people would visit Lima, generating an economic impact of approximately 25.1 billion won in the tourism sector.

BTS will perform in Santiago, Chile, on October 14 and 16–17.

Afterward, they will continue their South American tour in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and São Paulo, Brazil.
