Scattered Showers Expected on Last Day of Holiday; Wide Temperature Gaps

On the last day of the holiday, today (October 11), scattered showers are forecast for various inland regions.

Between this afternoon and evening, 5 to 20 millimeters of rain are expected in the inland areas of the central region, while 5 to 10 millimeters are forecast for the inland areas of the southern region.

Jeju Island will see 5 to 60 millimeters of rain through the day after tomorrow.

Some inland areas in the central region should watch out for sudden gusts of wind and lightning.

A large temperature gap will persist today as well.

Starting at 15.1°C (59°F) in Seoul and 17°C (63°F) in Cheongju, temperatures will climb to a daytime high of 27°C (81°F) in Seoul and 28°C (82°F) in Cheongju, making it somewhat warm during the afternoon.

Skies nationwide will be partly cloudy today, while Jeju will be cloudy.

Daegu currently starts at 16.9°C (62°F), with daytime temperatures expected to rise up to 28°C (82°F).

Scattered showers will continue across various inland areas tomorrow.

After rain falls nationwide the day after tomorrow, the weather is expected to turn chilly.
