Ukrainian diplomatic authorities have stated that "diplomacy must prevail over emotions" in response to the South Korean government's decision to recall its ambassador to Ukraine.

On October 8 local time, Ukraine made the remarks in a statement by its Foreign Ministry spokesperson, saying that despite the South Korean government's decision to recall the ambassador, it remains "open to resuming constructive dialogue, even if it takes time."
