Today, October 9, marking the start of the Hangeul Day holiday, will see mostly clear skies nationwide with occasional cloudy spells.

Daytime highs will range between 23°C (73°F) and 27°C (81°F), higher than average, making it pleasant for outdoor activities.

However, with a temperature difference of around 15°C between daytime highs and nighttime lows, particularly centered around the inland areas of the central region, health precautions are advised.

While the central regions are expected to stay clear until tomorrow, Saturday, the southern regions are expecting rain during the holiday period.

Jeju Island will receive 5 to 40 mm of rain from tomorrow morning through the day after tomorrow, and intermittent rain is also expected in parts of Honnam and the inland areas of Gyeongsang.
