Did you know that an increasing number of people on social media are believing that AI-generated fake personas are real and even disclosing their personal information?

Recently, accounts introducing women along with their age, occupation, and hobbies to encourage interaction have been popping up on social media.

One account introduced itself as a '41-year-old nurse living in Pohang,' detailing her occupation, daily habits, and food preferences.

Other accounts followed a similar pattern of introducing their age, occupation, and personal concerns, then prompting interest by saying, "I want to talk with people who can relate."

The photos also showed characteristics suspected of being generated by AI, such as excessively smooth skin or awkwardly rendered props and text.

The problem is that some users are accepting the women in the photos as real people.

Comments continued to pour in as users revealed their own age, place of residence, and occupation in the comment section, or demanded direct contact by saying, "Let's meet up" or "Check your DMs."

Concerns are also rising that these accounts could be exploited for romance scams, where they build intimacy and later demand money or additional personal information.
