Here is a look at the global market conditions.

Let us first look at the New York stock market.

The three major U.S. stock indices closed mixed.

The Nasdaq dropped more than 1%, and the S&P 500 fell 0.47%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed slightly higher.

By sector, energy and consumer staples stocks driven by geopolitical risks rose over 2% to support the market, while tech stocks tumbled nearly 2% amid growing skepticism over artificial intelligence investments.

The main factor driving the market downturn today was a report regarding OpenAI's revenue.

News that OpenAI's annualized revenue fell short of expectations fueled skepticism over whether massive investments in infrastructure funded by heavy borrowing by big tech companies would actually yield returns.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Trump stated that he would rule out military intervention before the midterm elections, causing oil prices to give up some of their gains, but inflationary pressures driven by rising energy prices heightened vigilance over potential additional tightening by the Federal Reserve.

However, the U.S. Treasury Department's auction of 30-year bonds concluded with solid demand, causing the 10-year yield to drop to the 5.23% level, which defended the stock market from further declines.

Next, let us look at the U.S. futures market.

Amid a combination of inflation concerns stemming from soaring international oil prices and profitability controversies surrounding artificial intelligence-related tech stocks, U.S. stock index futures are showing an upward trend.

Dow futures are moving around the 51,000 level, and Nasdaq 100 futures are up 51 points, trading around the 31,000 level.

S&P 500 futures are moving around the 7,800 level, and Russell 2000 futures, centered on small and medium-sized stocks, are up 2%, trading around the 2,800 level.

As strong demand was confirmed in the 10-year and 30-year Treasury bond auctions, 10-year U.S. interest rate futures are moving at 5.21% and 30-year U.S. interest rate futures are trading at 5.62%.

Looking at the commodity futures market, concerns over the U.S. government's fiscal soundness are supporting safe-haven demand.

Gold futures are moving around the 4,158 dollar per ounce level, and while concerns over disruptions in oil supplies from the Middle East overlap with the possibility of production declines in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico region, crude oil futures are trading around the 91 dollar level and declining.

Looking at the fluctuation rates of major U.S. stock futures by stock, amid news that Broadcom and Oracle are pursuing large-scale fundraising, Nvidia is showing a slight gain, while Meta and Apple futures are rising by around 0.4%.

That concludes our look at the CME futures market.
