Late-night access outages occurred across Coupang affiliates, including South Korea's largest internet shopping mall Coupang and the food delivery app Coupang Eats, causing temporary inconvenience for users.

At around 12:30 a.m. today (October 9), applications such as Coupang, Coupang Eats, and Coupang Play experienced issues where screens failed to display properly or user information, including login data, could not be loaded. The service was restored around 2:40 a.m.

During the outage, Coupang displayed error messages such as "Network connection is unstable" upon login, and "Failed to load user information" on the address setting screen.

Coupang's customer service explained, "Customer and order information could not be verified due to a computer system error."

However, as services such as orders and deliveries were unavailable for about two hours, customers as well as store owners and delivery drivers experienced significant disruptions in their delivery operations.
