Starting from the night of the 7th, posts titled "Obituary: Cartoonist Huh Young-man has passed away" began spreading across social media networks. The posts gained traction, recording tens of thousands of views and hundreds of shares.

However, this was not true. Following the memorial post attached to the publication leads to a different person. It was actually a tribute to calligrapher Mr. A, not cartoonist Huh Young-man.

Representatives for cartoonist Huh Young-man previously shared an update via social media comments last August, stating, "Teacher Huh Young-man is slowly recovering his health at the hospital."
