The government has decided to exclude five types of farmland, such as inherited land, from nationwide farmland inspection disposal measures.

Song Miran, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, stated, "We will pursue the enactment of a special act with the direction of not proceeding with disposal procedures under the Farmland Act for general cases that are not speculative."

The related categories include inherited farmland, farmland leased out by elderly or traditional farmers, farmland with complex ownership structures such as those owned by clans or temples, landlocked plots or farming-difficult plots, and unauthorized facilities like agricultural warehouses.
