"Maestro Jang" has heightened anticipation by releasing a teaser video featuring enthusiastic love calls from top stars.
SBS's new variety show "Maestro Jang," premiering on Thursday, October 15 at 9:00 p.m., follows Jang Hang-jun—who was at times pathetic and at times servile, yet more brilliant than anyone—as he holds a secret audition to cast top actors in his autobiographical film "Maestro Jang," unfolding a witty, give-and-take talk show between the master director and the stars.
In the newly released third teaser, the stars drew attention by continuing to show their respect and affectionate support for director Jang Hang-jun.
First, actor Song Joong-ki referenced the box office numbers of director Jang Hang-jun's film "The King's Warden," saying, "What do you mean 10 million? It's 16 million." He then showed special respect, adding, "(When he calls) I find myself answering the phone with both hands without even realizing it."
Next, Seolhyun brought excitement by confessing, "I really want to work with you at least once. I'll wait for your call," while close friend Jang Hyun-sung drew laughter by asking, "Please don't forget me." Kim Min-jae appealed with a back-to-basics attitude, saying, "There is an actor named Kim Min-jae," and comedian Jang Doyoun drew big laughs by pleading, "Please cast me just once!"
With top stars ranging from actors to comedians sending love calls to earn a spot in "top choice director" Jang Hang-jun's autobiographical film, attention is focused on who will ultimately take the honor of being cast.
