Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels have launched airstrikes against Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation announced that King Khalid International Airport in the capital city of Riyadh and Abha International Airport in the south were targeted, resulting in 3 deaths and 36 injuries.

Following a large-scale offensive launched on October 4 by the Yemeni government forces and the Saudi-led coalition to retake territory controlled by the Houthis, the rebels have mounted a fierce counterattack by striking the Saudi mainland and the Yemeni capital.
