Clear weather continues today (Oct. 8), bringing a wide temperature range between morning and afternoon.

Seoul starts the morning at 12°C (54°F), while daytime temperatures are expected to rise significantly up to 24°C (75°F).

Meanwhile, today is Hanro, one of the 24 solar terms, which signifies that cold dew begins to form.

The formation of dew is closely related to the large daily temperature range seen these days.

Especially on clear and windless nights, heat rapidly escapes from the Earth's surface, causing temperatures to drop sharply.

During the day, with no clouds blocking the sun, direct sunlight causes temperatures to rise even faster.

As temperature fluctuations are greater than usual, you should take extra care of your health.

This morning, dense fog is expected in the inland areas and mountainous regions of Gangwon Province.

Skies will be clear nationwide, and the air will remain dry.

Looking at morning temperatures, Seoul starts at 12°C (54°F) and Chuncheon at 8°C (46°F), similar to yesterday. Daytime highs will climb to 24°C (75°F) in Seoul, and 26°C (79°F) in Daegu and Gwangju.

During the upcoming Hangeul Day holiday weekend, the central regions will stay clear, but rain is forecasted for the southern regions and Jeju Island between Saturday and Sunday.
