A fire broke out at a restaurant in downtown Seoul, causing about 70 people to evacuate.

At around 8:10 PM today (October 7), a fire occurred at a two-story Korean barbecue restaurant near Euljiro 3-ga Station in Jung-gu, Seoul.

The fire department mobilized around 60 personnel and approximately 10 pieces of equipment, extinguishing the fire about 30 minutes after receiving the report.

It was reported that one person inhaled smoke and received hospital treatment, while some 70 citizens inside the building evacuated.

Fire authorities believe the fire started in the grill's exhaust pipe and are investigating the exact cause.
