Police have launched an investigation following a report that a large sum of cash was stolen from a vehicle parked in the underground parking lot of an apartment complex in Daejeon.

According to the Daejeon Yuseong Police Station today (October 7), a report was filed at around 12:05 AM on October 3 stating that 60 million won in cash had been stolen from a car parked in the underground parking lot of an apartment in Yuseong-gu.

Police are currently tracking down the suspect using nearby closed-circuit television footage and other evidence.

A police official stated, "As this is an ongoing investigation, we cannot disclose specific details."
