A centuries-old Spanish tradition of building human towers, also designated as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, has set a brand-new record this year.
This is the scene from a human tower competition held in Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain.
People support each other's shoulders and backs, stacking a tower up to an astonishing 9 tiers high with 9 people on each tier.
As someone climbs all the way to the very top and the human tower is completed, cheers erupt from the crowd.
But that is not the end of it.
They successfully dismantled the tower all the way to the end by coming down sequentially from the top to prevent it from collapsing.
This marks the first time in history that a human tower of "9 people per tier, 9 tiers high" has been completely dismantled!
The flawless teamwork of hundreds of people has left a new record in a tradition that has endured for over 200 years.
