Actor and director Lee You-jin (34) and actor Cha Kyung-eun (real name Kim Kyung-eun, 28), who are tying the knot this November, have received double the blessings with the news of their first pregnancy.

On the afternoon of October 6, representatives for Lee You-jin and Cha Kyung-eun announced via an official statement, "While the two actors decided to tie the knot and were preparing for their wedding with the blessings of both families, they recently learned of the pregnancy."

They continued, "Currently, both actors and their families are joyfully preparing to welcome the new life. As details such as the expected due date are personal matters, we ask for your generous understanding that we cannot share specific details."

Previously, Lee You-jin and Cha Kyung-eun shared that they will hold a private wedding ceremony at an undisclosed venue in Seoul on November 14. Their relationship began through Lee You-jin's directorial debut, the ENA short drama ""If You See a Way, Cast!" (literal title) While preparing for the project, Lee You-jin fell in love with Cha Kyung-eun at first sight. After filming wrapped, he sincerely confessed his feelings and actively courted her. Cha Kyung-eun reciprocated, and the two have been dating with marriage in mind since June.

Having established mutual certainty, the couple shared their intentions with both sets of parents shortly after beginning their relationship and received their blessings, swiftly moving toward marriage with clear decisiveness and momentum. Following their wedding announcement, the news of them becoming parents-to-be has created a double celebration, drawing warm congratulations and support from fans and fellow industry colleagues.

Alongside this, Cha Kyung-eun's special family connection has come to light, sparking further buzz. It was revealed that Cha Kyung-eun's biological older sister is actor Kim Seung-yoon. In particular, her sister Kim Seung-yoon is scheduled to tie the knot with actor Jang Dong-yoon this month to build a family of their own. With sisters Cha Kyung-eun and Kim Seung-yoon marrying fellow actors in back-to-back ceremonies, Jang Dong-yoon and Lee You-jin are set to become brothers-in-law, creating a rare and delightful family bond.
