A fire broke out on a fishing vessel sailing near Incheon Bridge, resulting in the rescue of all three people on board.

The Incheon Coast Guard announced that it received a report at around 2:00 PM today (October 6) from the Incheon Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) stating that a fire had broken out on a 41-ton fish carrier floating in the waters south of Incheon Bridge.

All three crew members were rescued by nearby vessels, and no casualties have been reported so far.

The Coast Guard has issued an emergency dispatch order mobilizing all available assets, including patrol boats and rescue teams, and is currently working to extinguish the fire.

Once the fire is completely put out, the Coast Guard plans to investigate the cause of the accident and check for any additional damage.
