"Three typhoons arriving all at once."
This is the situation in our neighboring country, Japan.
If you are planning a business trip or travel to Japan, please pay close attention to this report.
According to the weather agency, Typhoon Koguma, the 29th typhoon, formed at around 9:00 a.m. yesterday about 2,560 kilometers east of Guam.
Combined with Typhoon Choi-wan, the 27th typhoon, and Noru, the 28th typhoon, which were already active, a triple typhoon phenomenon involving three simultaneous typhoons is unfolding in Japan.
Local Japanese media have reported that the impact of the three typhoons is likely to be concentrated from October 10 to October 12.
At present, the possibility of a direct impact on South Korea is expected to be low.
Meanwhile, as I mentioned earlier, the name of the 29th typhoon is "Koguma."
I naturally thought it was named after the edible sweet potato submitted by South Korea, but it turns out the name was submitted by Japan and refers to the constellation Ursa Minor, or the Little Dipper.
In any case, since it is the Hangeul Day long weekend, those planning to head to Japan are advised to check the latest weather forecasts.
