Others complained that they constantly have to worry about shoe marks getting on their pants because of people crossing their legs.

Behaviors that cause inconvenience to other passengers by spreading legs too wide or crossing them on public transit have been persistent issues for a very long time.

It seems that as much as one is comfortable, others are bound to be uncomfortable.
