Ina Yoon, who finished as the runner-up at the LPGA Tour Lotte Championship, has climbed to 17th in the Women's World Golf Rankings.

In the rankings released today (October 6), Yoon received an average of 3.52 points, jumping six spots from her previous ranking of 23rd last week.

Yoon finished second after engaging in a fierce battle for the title with Jeeno Thitikul of Thailand at the LPGA Tour Lotte Championship, which concluded yesterday (October 5).

With an average of 11.08 points, Thitikul narrowed the gap with world No. 1 Nelly Korda of the United States (13.09 points), who has been taking a break and did not compete in recent tournaments.

Yoo Hae-ran, who won the KLPGA Tour major championship Hite Jinro Championship, maintained her third place in the world rankings, the same as the previous week.

Kim Min-sol, who tied for second at the Hite Jinro Championship, placed 13th, moving up two spots from last week.
