People urgently escape from inside their cars as the vehicles are swept away by muddy floodwaters.

This footage was captured in Alborz Province, Iran.

Heavy rainfall caused rainwater and muddy water to rush down simultaneously from surrounding mountains.

In particular, roads in the Ajimieh area, a sloping region, were covered with water and mud, and vehicles and motorcycles were swept away by the torrents.

Scenes of drivers hastily abandoning their vehicles and evacuating continued in various places.

Local authorities launched emergency responses, clearing flooded areas and rescuing stranded people.
