Amid ongoing controversies over historical distortion surrounding the film 'The Assassins', conservative groups have held a rally in front of the home of lead actor Yoo Hae-jin.

New Freedom Solidarity and Bellado held a rally in front of a detached house in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, known to be Yoo's residence, condemning the production company and the actor of 'The Assassins'.

While demanding the suspension of the film's screening, New Freedom Solidarity argued that the production team and actors should issue a public apology and make a commitment to prevent a recurrence.

Bellado argued that Yoo should also appear in so-called "right-wing films".

They announced they would continue their actions, including visiting the headquarters of companies for which Yoo serves as an advertising model—such as Burger King and Kiwoom Securities—to demand the cancellation of his contracts.

According to unofficial police estimates, about 50 people attended the rally.

Meanwhile, the conservative group Hoguk Yeonhap Bangpaedan is also holding a rally at 3:00 PM today (October 4) in front of Hive Media Corp, the production company behind 'The Assassins', urging a public apology to the citizens and the bereaved families.
