Dry Air in Greater Seoul; 5–10 mm of Rain for Yeongnam Coast

With clear blue autumn skies and comfortable temperatures, it is a great time to enjoy the deepening autumn season.

Today, October 4, which is the National Foundation Day holiday, the skies over Seoul are partly cloudy like this.

The air is very dry, especially centered around the greater Seoul area.

A dry weather advisory has been issued for Seoul.

With winds blowing somewhat strongly, small sparks can easily turn into large fires.

You will need to be extra cautious about fire safety.

Let us take a look at today's daytime temperatures.

Daytime highs will rise to 24°C (75°F) in Seoul, 26°C (79°F) in Gwangju, and 25°C (77°F) in Daegu, which are higher than average years.

Light rain is currently falling in some parts of the Yeongnam coastal area.

Rainfall of 5 to 10 millimeters is expected to fall in Ulsan and the eastern coast of North Gyeongsang Province until this afternoon before stopping.

There may also be occasional raindrops in the southern eastern coast of Gangwon Province and the inland areas of Yeongnam.

As night falls, rain will also fall in various places in the western region, including Seoul.

Tomorrow, the last day of the holiday, rain is forecasted nationwide.
