The South Korean rhythmic gymnastics national team finished fifth in the women's team all-around event at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.
Team South Korea—consisting of Kim Ji-woo, Yanyegaterina (both from Korea National Sport University), Kim Min-seul (Yongin University), Lee Jung-eun (Sejong University), and Park Su-yeon (Uncheon High School)—scored a combined 45.350 points across two routines in the team all-around final held on October 3 at the Rainbow Hall of the Nagoya City General Gymnasium in Japan, placing fifth among the eight countries that advanced to the final.
In the team all-around event, where five athletes perform together, South Korea recorded 21.400 points in the ball routine and 23.950 points in the hoop and clubs routine.
Having advanced to the final by ranking fourth with 47.200 points in the preliminaries the previous day, the team aimed for a medal but finished one spot lower in the final.
China won the gold medal with 55.300 points, Japan claimed the silver with 52.500 points, and Kazakhstan took the bronze with 51.550 points.
Failing to secure a podium finish in the team all-around event, which was newly introduced at this tournament, South Korean rhythmic gymnastics once again missed out on a medal, following the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Games where it also failed to medal after winning bronze in the team event.
In the previously held individual all-around final, Seo Eun-chae (Suwon City) finished eighth with a total of 104.550 points across the hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon routines.
Ha Su-yi (Korea National Sport University) ranked ninth with a total of 103.150 points across the four apparatuses.
