As we enter October, the air has turned noticeably chilly in the mornings and evenings. With a wide temperature range expected to continue through this National Foundation Day holiday, you will need to take extra care of your health. Let's connect with our weather forecaster stationed in Sinchon, Seoul.
Forecaster Nam Yu-jin, it looks like outerwear is now a must-have for this weather. Is it getting quite chilly out there on-site?

I've been closely observing citizens' outfits since this afternoon.
People's clothing choices varied widely.
While quite a few people were still seen in short sleeves during the day, the number of people wearing outer layers has been gradually increasing as evening sets in.
I came outside today without an outer layer like this, and I can feel a bit of chill, making me wish I had worn a jacket.
You will need to pay attention to your attire tomorrow, National Foundation Day, due to the wide temperature swings.
Seoul recorded a morning low of 11.2°C (52°F) today, and Daegwallyeong marked its first sub-zero temperatures of this autumn, making it the chilliest morning nationwide this fall.
Tomorrow morning will be just as cold as today, with lows of 11°C (52°F) in Seoul and Daegu, and 7°C (45°F) in Chuncheon.
During the day, temperatures will shoot up to 23°C (73°F) in Seoul and 25°C (77°F) in Gwangju, with most regions experiencing large temperature gaps of more than 10°C (18°F).
Rain is also forecasted for Sunday and Monday.
First, rain will fall in the east coast of Gyeongbuk, Busan, and Ulsan from Sunday morning to afternoon. Starting late Sunday night, rain will begin in the metropolitan area, including Seoul, and the northern inland areas of Gangwon, spreading to most parts of the country by Monday morning.
The amount of rainfall will not be large, and the duration will be short, but caution is advised as it may be accompanied by gusty winds, thunder, and lightning.
Once the rain stops, cold air will move down from the north once again, turning the weather chilly.
As we enter full-fledged autumn these days, I hope you enjoy the deepening autumn while taking good care of your health.
