Amid a series of hacking incidents resulting in customer information leaks at Shinhan Bank, KB Kookmin Bank, and Hana Bank, personal information of 11 outsourced developers has now been leaked at BNK Busan Bank due to a hacking attack.

BNK Busan Bank stated, "We confirmed around 4:30 a.m. on the 2nd that the personal information of 11 outsourced development staff, including their names, phone numbers, dates of birth, and email addresses, was leaked onto a web page."

Busan Bank explained that the incident is presumed to have been caused by a hacking attack targeting internal systems such as the mobile sales support system for employees.

"The compromised web page has been blocked, and we have reported the matter to financial authorities," Busan Bank said. "We are continuing to strengthen monitoring to prepare for similar attacks."
