The eSports League of Legends (LoL) national team competing at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games has secured the gold medal for the second consecutive time.

The South Korean national team claimed the gold medal by defeating Taiwan with a set score of 3-0 in the LoL final held at the Aichi Sky Expo in Japan on October 2.

Led by "Faker" Lee Sang-hyeok, the national team recorded a flawless sweep throughout this year's Asian Games, not dropping a single set across the group stage, semifinals, and final.

With LoL concluding South Korea's schedule in eSports at this year's Asian Games, the country finished with a total of five medals: two golds, one silver, and two bronzes.
