South Korean jiu-jitsu national team members Park Sung-hoo and Lim Eon-joo (both affiliated with the Korea Jiu-Jitsu Association) have both advanced to the finals, securing at least two silver medals.
Park defeated Pourya Taherkani of Iran 2-0 in the semifinals of the men's 94kg jiu-jitsu event at the Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, earning his spot in the final.
Park, who had no previous international competition experience spanning last year and this year, secured one 2-point technique and one advantage in the semifinals while successfully shutting down his opponent's attacks without conceding any points.
Park, who has created a stunning sensation at the Asian Games, will face Omar Tariq Nada of Saudi Arabia for the gold medal today at 3:10 PM.

In the women's division, Lim Eon-joo also showcased dominant skills to secure her place in the final.
Lim achieved a comfortable 5-0 victory in the women's 52kg semifinals against Mongolkjin Ganbaatar of Mongolia by successively executing a 2-point and a 3-point technique.
Lim is a world-class powerhouse who successively claimed victory at the 9th Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship last year and the 2025 World Games.
Having consistently harvested medals on the international stage, including placing third at the 2025 World Championships and second at the 2026 Sanya Asian Beach Games, she has targeted the gold medal by exhibiting flawless performance at this Asian Games as well.
Lim will face Asma Alhosani of the United Arab Emirates in the final scheduled for today at 3:34 PM.
