"Two-Person Thief Living in a Chicken Restaurant?"... 'TV Animal Farm' Tracks 'Weasel Villain' Stealing Meals for a Month

SBS's "TV Animal Farm" is tracking the shocking details of a case involving so-called "weasel villains" that have been frequenting a chicken restaurant in Seoul as if it were their own home and freeloading for a month.

On the upcoming episode of SBS's "TV Animal Farm" airing at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 4, the production team investigates the scene after receiving a report from the restaurant owner, who has been distressed by chicken bones and excrement scattered all over the shop every morning.

The identity of the culprit, revealed through CCTV and observation cameras installed by the production team, turned out to be wild weasels. Not only did they rummage through trash cans, but they also boldly tore open sealed bags left by the owner, snatched pieces of chicken as large as their own bodies, and feasted on the spot.

Initially thought to be a solo crime, observation camera footage revealed that the incident was actually the work of a two-person criminal duo. The cameras captured a well-coordinated "accomplice weasel" operation lasting four hours: one weasel would unearth the chicken, and another would appear shortly after to naturally carry it away.

An inspection of a hole in the wall near the store entrance using an endoscope camera revealed a massive pile of chicken bones and signs of habitation throughout the ceiling, raising the strong possibility that the creatures have been using the chicken restaurant as their hideout.

How wild weasels meant to live in nature ended up settling down in a bustling Seoul alley chicken restaurant, the identity of the two accomplice weasels, and a rescue operation to safely return them to nature will be revealed on "TV Animal Farm," airing Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. on October 4.
