Singer and actor T.O.P (Choi Seung-hyun, 38), formerly of the group BIGBANG, and singer and actor Nana (Im Jin-ah, 35), formerly of the group After School, have confirmed they are in a relationship. The two first met on a music video set, began dating around June, and have been together for four months.

On October 2, T.O.P's agency, Top Spot Pictures, stated, "They first met through a music video shoot, grew close, and developed into a romantic relationship around June." Nana's agency, Sublime, also acknowledged the relationship, stating, "They formed a connection through a music video shoot and are currently maintaining a good relationship."

Earlier that day, entertainment outlet Dispatch reported that T.O.P and Nana first met through a music video shoot in January and became a couple around June. Dispatch also released photos of the two spending time together recently near Nana's home.

The project that brought them together is the music video for "Totally Crazy!", the title track of T.O.P's first solo full-length album, "Multiple Perspectives." Nana took on the lead role in the music video at T.O.P's request.

In a video released in April on T.O.P's YouTube channel "T.O.P," he explained the reason for casting Nana, saying, "Ever since I first wrote 'Totally Crazy,' I had this idea of a mysterious female character from an indefinite era. I needed someone with a charm that makes you wonder if she came from outer space or the past. I thought it would be extremely attractive to have a woman who has a classic beauty while actually looking completely crazy, just like the song title, and she was the best fit in my eyes."

T.O.P debuted with BIGBANG in 2006, later left the group, and resumed his acting career through Netflix series Squid Game Season 2. In April, he released his first solo full-length album, "Multiple Perspectives."
