President Lee Jae-myung praised Minister of Industry and Trade Kim Jung-kwan today (October 2) for leading the investment negotiations with the United States, saying, "You did a truly great job."

President Lee wrote the remark on X while sharing a post Minister Kim had written titled "Reflections on a Year of Negotiations on Investment in the United States."

President Lee added, "Please give your encouragement to a competent and faithful public servant who spares no effort and works with all his might for the national interest," adding, "He will work even harder."

President Lee had also written on X the previous day, "I ask for your support for Minister Kim and the trade negotiations office, who did their best and delivered good results in the U.S. investment negotiations despite difficulties."
