Actors Choi Soo-jong and Ha Hee-ra are taking the theater stage together for the first time.

The couple will star in the upcoming play "Love Letters," which opens next month.

"Love Letters" portrays the lives and love of the characters Andy, a straight-A student, and Melissa, a free spirit, through the letters they exchange over a span of 50 years.

Choi Soo-jong and Ha Hee-ra will play the roles of Andy and Melissa, respectively.

As the story spans a long period between a man and a woman, anticipation is high for the on-stage chemistry of the real-life couple, who are celebrating their 33rd year of marriage.
