Hollywood actor Jim Carrey, 64, has married his longtime partner Min Ah, 32.
According to multiple U.S. entertainment outlets, Jim Carrey tied the knot with Min Ah in a small, private ceremony in Los Angeles on September 30 (local time). Carrey's representative confirmed the marriage to PEOPLE and Just Jared that same day. The ceremony was held quietly with only close friends and family in attendance, and the exact wedding date was not disclosed.
Min Ah is a Los Angeles-based actor and artist. According to local reports, she is an artist of Korean descent. Dating rumors between the two first surfaced in February 2022 when they were spotted together in Los Angeles.
Jim Carrey, who received an honorary award at the César Awards in Paris, France, in February, expressed his heartfelt gratitude in his acceptance speech: "Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane and my grandson Jackson. I love you now and forever. Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah. I love you, Min Ah."
He added, "And finally, thank you to the funniest man I have ever known: my father, Percy Joseph Carrey, who taught me the value of love, generosity, and laughter." The couple has officially become husband and wife seven months after publicly revealing their relationship.
This marks Jim Carrey's third marriage. He previously married former actor Melissa Womer in 1987, welcoming daughter Jane, before divorcing in 1995. The following year, in 1996, he married actor Lauren Holly, his costar in the film "Dumb and Dumber," though the couple parted ways after less than a year. He later began dating Renée Zellweger in 1999 after meeting on the set of "Me, Myself & Irene" and was briefly engaged to her before they separated the following year.
