The agency of the rookie boy group KEYVITUP has issued a formal apology after police were dispatched to the set of their music video, which was filmed in a traditional market near a residential area in the early hours of the morning.

According to an online user, extended noise disruptions took place during filming at Jemulpo Market in Sungui-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon, at around 3:20 AM on September 30. The shoot finally concluded only after local residents dialed the emergency police hotline (112) and officers arrived at the scene.

The online poster, who shared photos from the scene, recounted, "I checked the time back then, and it was past 3 AM. I was completely baffled and shocked. Living in this neighborhood for 10 years, I've seen countless shoots, but this was the first time I saw one filming past 3 AM and even using a loudspeaker." The user added, "Once the filming wrapped, they should have packed up quietly, but instead they yelled 'Great job, everyone!' through the loudspeaker and cheered amongst themselves."

As the incident gained traction on social media, the group's agency, iNKODE, posted an official apology on its website on October 1.

"Regarding the recent music video shoot for KEYVITUP, we extend our deepest apologies to the local residents who experienced discomfort and disturbance due to filming noise during hours meant for a peaceful night," iNKODE stated. "We took multiple aspects into consideration and made efforts to minimize resident inconvenience during the shoot, but as filming dragged on into the late hours, we failed to pay closer attention to the surrounding environment and the disruption it could bring to residents' daily lives."

The agency continued, "We take this matter very seriously. We will visit the residents who suffered inconvenience and fulfill our follow-up measures with a responsible attitude." It added, "Moving forward, we will conduct more thorough advance checks across all aspects of filming alongside production teams, and strictly manage shooting hours and on-site noise levels to ensure such an incident does not happen again."

KEYVITUP is a five-member boy group that debuted in April under iNKODE, the entertainment agency established by singer Kim Jae-joong.
