First piece of news. A patrolling police robot goes bump.

These days, police robots are frequently used to patrol local neighborhoods.

The police robot that came out to protect the neighborhood ended up becoming the main character of an accident instead.

Let us show you a photo from the scene of the accident.

On September 28, an autonomous patrol robot rammed into a folding table placed next to a flowerpot at Hwajeong Station Square in Goyang.

The robot failed to recognize the lower part of the folding table as an obstacle and ended up colliding with it.

As a result, about 20 flowerpots fell to the ground and shattered.

The police plan to cover the damages for the broken flowerpots and other losses through insurance.

And a photo of this incident became a hot topic on social media.

The person who uploaded the post wrote, "The robot hit a flowerpot while on a covert patrol and tried to flee, but it has now been caught at the scene and locked up in solitary confinement."

They made a joke by comparing the way the robot was parked separately after the accident to an arrest and detention.

Netizens also responded with witty remarks, such as "Did the police have a traffic accident with a flowerpot?" and "Did it drink too much electricity and get drunk?"
